Coach of newly promoted Ghana Premier League side, Eleven Wonders, Mumuni Abdul Gamel says his team won’t be pushovers in the G-8 tournament.
According to him, they are in to make a big statement, warning that, those who have started underrating them should stop.
Eleven Wonders topped Zone 3 of the Division One League to book their qualification to the Premier League.
With the G-8 tournament starting this weekend, Eleven Wonders will seek to cause an upset in a group that has league champions, Aduana Stars and FA Cup winners, Asante Kotoko.
“It’s a great opportunity to be part of this tournament. Eleven Wonders want to use this tournament to show to the people of Ghana, what we have, and what we can do. It’s always a privilege to play Kotoko.
“It’s a big advantage for us. We will use the game and assess our performance; that’s to say if we can stay in the league or not, or if we are ready for the Premier League” Gamel told the media at the pre-match presser.
Eleven Wonders will face Asante Kotoko on Sunday before playing Aduana Stars on Thursday. Their last game will be against Dreams FC.
