Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers are leading the race to sign Ghana international Daniel Opare.
The Ghanaian is set to leave Augsburg this winter after he failed to extend his contract which is scheduled to end on June 30, 2018.
English tabloid Daily reports that EPL side Leicester are already in the market looking for a right-back and have identified the 27-year-old as the perfect choice whilst Wolves also wants to sign him as a replacement for fellow Ghanaian Philemon Ofosu-Ayeh who has not made a single appearance so far this season.
Opare who honed his talent at Real Madrid Castilla joined Augsburg in the summer of 2015 from FC Porto and despite a poor start which saw him being loaned to Lens, he has fought back to earn a place in the starting line up of the Bavarian club.
He has made fourteen Bundesliga appearances so far and has been one of the best lateral defenders in Germany.
West Ham, West Brom, Aston Villa and a host of English clubs are all said to be interested in his signature.
