Striker Joseph Mensah has confirmed that, he’s no longer with Elmina Sharks after declining to renew his contract. The player, who featured in 16 matches for the Edina club last season is free to join any club of his choice.
“I’ve ended my contract with Elmina Sharks. We are not negotiating for any renewal. I think I’m done with Sharks. I had a lot of injuries last season but I’m very well now” he told FootballMadeInghana.com.
Joseph Mensah also revealed that, he’s received offers from clubs outside the country but he’s in no rush to take any decision.
“I’ve received two offers from clubs in Nigeria and in Europe, Serbia, to be specific but I don’t want to rush. I want to take my time with my agent to choose the best offer for me.
Joseph Mensah scored five goals and made three assists for Elmina Sharks in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League.
