Ghana forward Lawson Bekui says he is happy with his hat trickĀ as a professional player which helped Al Dhofar to beat Fanja by three goals to two in a crunch Omani Premier League game on Friday night.
Bekui scored in the 14th, 78th and 91st minute as his side beat Fanja in the epic week five game and he is glad to have made the mark.
“I am really excited for my first hat trick in professional football, I give thanks to God for the opportunity and to my team mates and technical staffs. Is a great feeling for me having banged in three goals and my side winning a big game like this,” Bekui told footballmadeinghana.com.
“The mentality of every attacking player in football is to score and I have it at the back of my mind to score in every game. The well wishes I get from family and friends also inspires me to go all out on the pitch and do it for myself and also for them,”
Bekui added: “Our next game is against first-placed Al Suwiq and it is not going to be easy but the hat trick will serve as a bigger form of inspiration so that I can score more goals,”
The versatile forward has netted five goals in five league games so far this season.
