Dreams FC manager Abdul Karim Zito has mentioned that the two-week course he and his deputy Winfred Dormon went to at German Bundesliga II side Greuther Furth has been a success.
Zito indicated they have learnt the modern rudiments of the game in relations to youth development which will go a long way to have a positive impact on the club.
“The two weeks was very very intensive, we had lectures everyday and sessions also on the field. We basically learnt about youth development as their concept on it and ours at Dreams FC are the same,” Zito told footballmadeinghana.com
“We acquired lots of knowledge in that area. Personally I first had mine in that area in Netherlands when I was with Feyenoord Academy Ghana, I went to the Netherlands three times for youth development courses.”
“Now I have also gotten knowledge about the German system so I will blend it with what I know already and implement it at Dreams FC,”
“We thank our leaders Kurt ES Okraku, Jiji Mohammed, the management and everyone for this laudable idea of sending me and my deputy Winfred Dormon to Germany for a refresher course and also to learn modern things in the game.”
Manager Karim Zito promoted as many as eleven players from the youth team of Dreams FC to the senior team in the ongoing season.
