Ghana midfielder Obeng Regan has signed a one-year loan deal with Croatian Premier League side Inter Zapresic.
The 23-year-old midfielder joins the ambitions Croatian side on lend with just a year left on his contract with Serbian Superliga side FK Cukaricki.
Regan signed the contract on Monday evening at his home in Serbia as the Croatian side were racing behind time to register him for the League.
The Ghanaian will travel officially travel to Zagreb on Wednesday to begin his career with Inter and he could make his official debut this weekend.
“I signed the deal on Monday at my house in Serbia because everything had to be done fast for them to beat the registration deadline,” Regan told footballmadeinghana.com
“I was at the Croatian embassy here in Belgrade today and everything is set, by Wednesday I will get the visa and move to Croatia,”
Inter Zapresic have over the years produced players like Eduardo as well as Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric and the Ghanaian has already being tagged by the club fans as their new “Modric”.
Regan has previously played for Feyenoord (WAFA), Kotoko, Napredak and FK Cukaricki.
