Italian side Torino are not ready to sell Ghana international Afriyie Acquah to English Championship side Birmingham City.

According to tornews.com, the Blues have had a €7.5m bid for Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah rejected by the Maroons.

Toronews further revealed that  manager Sinisa Mihajlovic has made it clear to the board that they should not sell the Ghanaian as he remains the key player in his midfield.

The Turin-based club will only part ways with Acquah if they are able to sign his replacement.

Torino move for Godfred Donsah as a possible replacement for Acquah should he leave failed to materialized.
