Ghana forward Eric Warden has started pre-season with his Greek Football League club Sparti FC ahead of the coming campaign.
Warden, 24, joined the Queen of the South over the weekend after ending his contract with Kalithea FC and he is expected to use his huge experience to push the team forward in their quest for Superlig qualification.
The former Celta Vigo and Fokkikos attacker was present at the Sparta Municipal Stadium on Wednesday as he trained with his new teammates under the watchful eyes of manager Panagiotis Tzanavaras.
The Sparta boss was impressed with the output of his new attacker as his side’s major problem last season was having a complete attacker upfront.
The former Ghana Under 20 striker feature next week for Sparti FC when they begin their official pre-season games.
