Bursaspor president Ali Ay has indicated that he is still waiting for information from Astana FC if they have accepted his bid to sign Ghana striker Patrick Twumasi.
Ay made a 5million Euros offer to sign the potent Ghanaian attacker but officials of Astana emphasized that a decision will be taken on the Ghanaian after their Champions League Group Stage qualifier with Celtic.
Celtic defeated Astana 8-4 on aggregate with Twumasi netting a brace and Ay is now back for the striker.
“We were waiting for the rematch played by Twumasi with Celtic. Now we are waiting for news from Kazakhstan ” Ay told bursahakimiyet.
Twumasi has already made it known to his club that he wants to play for Bursaspor.
