Talented Ghana forward Eric Warden has signed a one-year-deal for Greek Football League side Sparti FC.
The 24-year-old joined the second-tier side on Friday night as a free agent after ending his contract with Kalithea.
Warden is expected to play a key role in the set up of manager Panagiotis Tzanavaras as the Queen of the South seek to improve upon their 7th position last season.
“I am happy to sign for one of the ambitious teams in the league, I will also do my best to help they team in their quest to qualify to the Super League,” Warden told footballmadeinghana.com
“Will start training with the team soon and I will get to know my colleagues and we take it from there,”
Warden was used mainly as a left winger at Kalithea last season where he scored four goals and provided five assists.
He has also previously featured for Celta Vigo in Spain, Greek sides Fokkikos, Iraklis Pschana as well as the Ghana National Under 20 team.
