The bankroller of Ghana National Division One Zone One League side Techiman City FC, Charles Kwadwo Ntim has rubbished claims made by the PRO of Kintampo United, Abdulai Seidu that his outfit paid a bribe of GHC 9000 to the later in their game over the weekend.
Seidu alleged that Techiman City greased the palms of the technical team of Kintampo United thereby making the home fans to cause an abrupt end to the game when the Citizens were leading 2-1.
Ntim popularly known as Micky Charles, insists there is no iota of truth in what Seidu is saying as he has to back his false claims with evidence.
“I have not paid my players for three months , their bonuses for two games and I will waste money on a much?” Ntim told Footballmadeinghana.com
“The allegation is stupid, baseless and dumbfounded. He who alleges must prove, Seidu should show who paid the money, where and how. They think we are jokers huh?”
In a separate interview with a Kumasi-based radio station, Baba Awudu a top management member of Kintampo United claimed that Techiman Eleven Wonders who are also gunning for the sole ticket from the group brought his team GHC 1500 and drinks so that they will beat Techiman City in the game.
CEO Kintampo FC Malik Appiah, also emphasized in the interview that Eleven Wonders management contacted his outfit to beat Techiman City and at the day of the game their supporters were even at the Stadium.
“We collected money and drinks from Techiman Eleven Wonders to beat Techiman City. The captain of Kintampo United was even at the meeting when we collected the drinks. I personally even told them aside the money from Eleven Wonders, I will pay their winning bonus if they beat Techiman City,” Appiah stated
Techiman City are trailing league leaders Nea Salamina by just a single point whilst Eleven Wonders who are fourth on the log behind City with just three points.
