Ghana defender Sam “Mensiro” Mensah left Sweden on Wednesday morning with Ostersunds FK for Luxembourg where they will faceĀ Fola Esch on Thursday in the Europa League third round second-leg game.
Ostersunds won the first leg last week by a lone goal and the Ghanaian believes they can record at least a draw away from home which will see them through.
“We are on our way for the second leg and we hope to go all out and secure qualification. Our aim is to to win or at least get a draw to sail through. We did it Galatasary and we can do it again,” Mensah told footballmadeinghana.com
“They are a very strong and talented team and they play physical too. We have nothing to lose so we will concentrate and play for 90 minutes and even over,”
Mensah has been one of the key players in the Ostersunds team this season and has netted twice so far.
