FC Ilves midfielder Reuben Ayarna says his new team mate Baba Mensah can be a hit at the Tammela Stadium.
Ayarna believes his fellow country-man has what it takes to shine in the Scandinavian country as he has now become settled.
Mensah, 22, joined Ilves this summer on an 18-month deal after two loan spells at Swedish side BK Hacken and Danish side Viborg from Inter Allies.
“I think is good for Baba to be here, it gives him the stability to be able to establish himself in Europe.
Is been short term contracts the past couple of years so being able to sign one and half years with a team which believes in him is good for his career at his age,” Ayarna told footballmadeinghana.com
” Baba Mensah has to be himself here, he has the qualities to succeed. He’s good on the ball, strong in the air, and a leader at the back. Constant training and discipline will help him succeed,”
“He has settled in since he signed and he has been good at training. God willing it will transfer to the games,”
The former Ghana Under 20 defender is the third Ghanaian in the fold of Ilves with the rest being Ayarna and Thomas Agyiri.
