CAF Vice President, Kwesi Nyantakyi has stressed that their vision is to make the WAFU the best in the continent.

Nyantakyi who also doubles as the president of the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) says CAF’s President Ahmad Ahmad as well as the top hierarchy will be present as a direct show of support for the competition which has been rebranded,

“In the final match all the leadership of African football including the CAF President will around to offer the needed support,”Nyantakyi told footballmadeinghana.com

“The financial support by our headline sponsors FOX SPORTS will also help us in training of Coaches, Referees, Administrators and others.  The financial support will also revive the tournament and WAFU inter club competition as well,”

The Tournament will begin in Ghana on September 9.
