Ghana defender Samuel “Mensiro” Mensah has left with his Swedish side Ostersunds FK for the crunch Europa League game with Galatasary at the Turk Telecom Arena on Thursday.
The in form defender is among the 23 players which manager Graham Potter has assembled for the epic clash.
Ostersunnds won the first leg by two goals to nothing with the Ghanaian putting up a spectacular performance and he is looking forward to replicate it on Thursday.
“It is going to be an exciting game. Galatasary is a great team with name in Europe but we will go all out there and get the results which will see us to the next stage,” Mensah told footballmadeinghana.com
“Personally it has been an exciting week for me, I scored against Djurgarden in the league on Sunday. I did my best also in the first leg against Galatasary at home and I am hoping to have a great game,”
“This is our first time in the competition and it is great for us, we are doing our best and we hope to go far,”
Mensah who can play anywhere across the back four and also as a holding midfielder has been one of the key players in OFK this season.
