Anderlecht are refusing to let Emmanuel Adjei Sowah move this summer despite offers made for the Ghanaian defender.

The Belgian giants are reluctant in accepting offers from two clubs in Germany for the rising right-back.

RB Leipzig are keen on signing the 19-year-old – luring him with the Champions League football and regular first team action.

Sowah’s progress at Anderlecht has been stifled by the presence of fellow Ghanaian Dennis Appiah.

After an explosive start to his career with the Belgian giants, the young Ghanaian struggled for regular first team action with Appiah the more preferred choice in the right-back position.

Representatives of Sowah are thus in search of a destination that promises regular first team action to aid his continues progress.

Anderlecht on the other hand want to keep hold of Sowah even though they are unable to assure him of regular first team action.

President of Dreams FC – Sowah’s previous club in Ghana – Mohammed Jiji Alifoe is in Europe to join the talks over the future of the soon-to-be Ghana international.

A meeting has been scheduled with top officials of Anderlecht this week to sign off on any possible move for Sowah.
