Malmo FF midfielder Kingsley Sarfo will make his league debut for the sea-blues at the Swedbank Stadion on July 15 against his former club Sirius IF.
Sarfo, 22, joined Malmo last week from Siruis IF for a record fee of $19.5million but will not make his league debut until July 15 when summer signings in Sweden can officially play.
Incidentally, that is the same day Malmo are facing Sirius in the Swedish Allsvenskan and Sarfo has admitted that though it could be his official league debut, he is not thinking about it as he has a lot to offer at Malmo.
“Though the game against my former club could be my debut, I have not thought about it yet. I will play when the day comes. I do not focus on it now, I’m focusing on playing football here with Malmo FF,” Sarfo stated.
The Ghanaian who has already applied for Swedish nationality had his first training sesesion with Malmo on Monday.
