Red Star Belgrade central defender Abraham Akwasi Frimpong says he and his team will not look down upon Maltese side Floriana FC in the Europa League.

Both teams were paired on Monday afternoon in the 2017/2018 Europa League first round qualifying knockout draw.

Frimpong who has been a pillar at the back for the Zvezda says they will go all out against their rivals as there is no small team in Europe now.

“As you know, now every country knows how to play football. We will not underrate FC Floriana, we are going all out to play the same as we would have played with the well known teams,” Frimpong told footballmadeinghana.com

“Pre-season is going on well and we are preparing adequately for the coming season. We want to go all out and win trophies in all competitions,”

Red Star will play the first leg at the Rajko Mitic Stadium on June 29, before traveling to Malta for the return leg on July 6.
