Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Akuffo says they played according to the plan of Coach Steve Polack in the 1-0 win over Wassaman in the MTN FA Cup game on Sunday.

Akuffo who was adjudged the man of the match explained that it was a difficult game though they adhered to the instructions of the technical team and came out as victors.

“We played according to the coaches instructions, every game involving Kotoko is a big game so our opponent’s came with a winning mentality to frustrate us but we were determined to win.”

“I am very happy we won for the fans. We want to go all as far as we can”

A first half penalty by skipper Amos Frimpong settled the game.
