English-born Ghanaian youngster Tarique Fosu has joined League One side Charlton Athletic on a two-year deal from Reading.
Fosu , 21, played for fourth-tier side Colchester on loan last season where he netted just five times in 33 appearances.
The striker revealed that it was easy for him to make the decision when he heard the Charlton boss was after him
“When I heard [Charlton manager] Karl [Robinson] was in for me, it made the decision for me,” said Fosu.
“He’s worked with a lot of young players so hopefully I can produce for him,” he told the club website.
The budding talent has also played for Fleetwood Town and Accrington Stanley all on loan.
