Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach Steve Polack has reiterated that he is happy with the first half performance of his side in their 1-0 win over Wassaman FC in the MTN FA Cup round of 16 game on Sunday.
Skipper Amos Frimpong netted a first half penalty for the Porcupine Warriors which proved to be the match winner but Polack insists the output of his side in the opening half of the game was much better.
“We played so well especially in the first half but unfortunately a lot of great chances were missed. We should have scored 4 or 5 goals.” Polack stated
“Wassaman did well by given us very difficult time but we were tactically and technically well composed and that saved us.”
“We promised of winning so I told my boys to take note and make sure we run away with victory”
Kotoko have reached the MTN FA Cup finals twice but are yet to win the trophy.
