Ghana international Mubarak Wakaso will not be moving to Reading FC as the Championship Club have stated that the destination of the midfielder is not Berkshire.

Wakaso who is set to leave Greek Super League side Panathenaikos has been linked to various clubs in England including the Royals but they have come out that no contact has been made with the former Espanyol man.

“Reading won’t be signing Mubarak Wakaso. Seems like he will move to England – won’t be to Berkshire, though,” the Club stated.

The 26-year-old who played for Granada on loan last season is said to be in talks with Stoke City.
