Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has indicated that their motive was to bury the Walia Antelopes of Ethiopia by an avalanche of goals and he is happy they did that to perfection.
Gyan explained that he and his charges were determined to start the qualifiers on a good note so as to relieve them of unnecessary pressure.
“Our aim was to win big against Ethiopia and we did just that. Going into the game, we decided to get many goals as we can and we did just that,” Gyan mentioned.
“We decided to start the qualifiers on a good note to take any unnecessary pressure from us in the subsequent matches”
“I dedicate the win to the supporters who came in their numbers to support the team,”
Ghana’s next qualifier will be on March 27, 2018 against the Harambee Stars of Kenya.
