Black Stars boss James Kwesi Appiah says he is building a formidable team in which the country can rely on for a decade.
Kwesi Appiah who is known for his good scouting policies gave three debutants their chance against Ethiopia on Saturday and they did impress as Ghana routed the East Africans by five goals to nothing.
Appiah insists more new faces will be invited as he seek to build good team for Ghana for the next ten years.
“I want to build a winsome team for Ghana which we can use for 10 years, this is the first phase and lots of players will be invited subsequently to showcase their talent,” Appiah stated.
“There is no permanent place in the team for any one, everyone must fight for a position in the team. I am happy with the performance of the new boys,”
Thomas Agyepong, Ebenezer Ofori and Raphael Dwamena were handed their Black Stars debut with all of the impressing as Ghana won 5-0.
