Italian Serie A side Chievo Verona have decided to loan Ghana forward Caleb Ansah Ekuban out rather than selling him outright.
Chievo manager Rolando Maran believes the 22-year-old attacker still has a future at the Stadio Marc Antonio and it will be suicidal to sell him outright.
Ekuban spent the just ended season on loan at Moldovan side FK Partizani where he netted an impressive 17 goals and provide five assists in 34 league games.
Cypriot champions Apoel Nicosia are said to be relishing a move for him ahead of their champions league campaign next season whilst English Championship side Leeds United are also said to be interested in signing him.
Apoel have already made contact with Chievo Verona and they could sign him on loan for next season.
