The Black Stars B recorded a convincing 2-1 win over the Scorpions Gambia in a friendly game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday morning.
Accra Hearts of Oak skipper Thomas Abbey put Ghana in front with a fantastic finish in the 51st minute after the home side had dominated possession.
The Gambians pulled even in the 74th minute through Lamin Jallow before Ghana goalie Razak Abalora converted a penalty with ten minutes to go to give Ghana the lead.
The friendly was a preparatory game for Gambians who face Benin in the 2019 AFCON qualifier at Cotonou on Sunday.
Ghana are also preparing for the 2017 WAFU Tournament as well the qualifiers for CHAN 2018.
