Ghana National Division Two side, In God We Trust FC defeated Tudu Mighty Jets by two goals to one at the Teshie Military Park on Friday.
In God We Trust FC which is one of the developmental sides of Dreams FC were using the game as a preparatory outing for the impending Greater Accra Regional Division Two League whilst Mighty Jets also used the match to test their strength for National Division One League which resumes next weekend.
Midfielder Mubarak Iddrisu opened the scoring for In God We Trust FC with a curling effort outside the 18-yard box in the sixth minute after being beautifully set up by Reuben Nunoo.
Reuben Nunoo netted the second goal for In God We Trust FC in the 8th minute from an Isaac Boabeng through pass.
In God We Trust dominated proceedings with some nice inter-positional play which drew applauds from the fans who watched the game.
The home side came into the game strongly in the later part of the second half and reduced the deficit through a spot kick.
In God We Trust FC held on to the 2-1 win until the referee blew his whistle for the end of the game.
