Ghana’s scheduled international friendly match against Egypt next weekend has been canceled according to reports in the local media.
Reasons for the cancelation are yet unknown but sources claim it was occasioned by the Egyptians.
The Pharaohs had lined up a friendly match against the Black Stars B team scheduled to have taken place in Cairo on June 11.
This had led to the camping of the Black Stars B team at the Ghanaman Soccer School of Excellence for the past three weeks.
The Ghana FA is however yet to confirmed these reports.
If played, the game will be rated as a full international friendly despite featuring the Black Stars B team.
It will therefore be captured in FIFA’s computations for its monthly ranking.
