Dreams FC’s defender Godfred Asante has been handed a late call up to the Black Stars B team, FootballMadeInGhana.com can confirm.

The experienced defender is expected to join the Ghana camp on Monday afternoon.

Godfred Asante has been one of the standout performers in the national Division One League.

His immense organization skills helped Dreams FC emerge as the best defensive team across all zones in the Division One League – conceding just four in 15 matches.

Asante has scored two goals so far this season and will be the second player from Dreams FC to be invited to the Black Stars B camp, joining midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey.
