Turkish Superlig side Trabzonspor have stated that the bid they made for Ghana youth international Joseph Aidoo is not up to 4 million Euros.

The former Turkish Champions are interested in the Hammarby defender and have tended in a bid but they insists their offer is not up to what is in the media domain.

Aidoo 21, has been a pillar at the back for the Swedish Allsvenskan side featuring in twenty three league games as the Bajen’s finished 11th last season.

“We have been following Aidoo and we have made a bid for him. It is below 4 million Euros so the figures in the media does not reflect the truth,” The Club stated in a Press Release on Thursday.

“What we presented for Aidoo  was a much more affordable fee,”

Aidoo joined Hammarby last season on a three-year deal from Inter Allies after playing for them on loan during the 2015 campaign.
