Ghana Black Stars deputy skipper, Andre Ayew is pleased with the return of Coach Kwesi Appiah.

The West Ham star is convinced that the former Ghana skipper will take the team to greater heights in his second coming due to his huge expertise and experience.

Appiah was officially named as the new Black Stars coach after the four-time African Champions part ways with expatriate Avram Grant.

“I am glad with the return of Kwesi Appiah as Black Stars coach, he is a good coach and deserves to lead the team,” Ayew emphasized.

“I have played for the Black Stars for the past 10 years and I can say he is one of the best coaches I have ever worked with. Appiah will have no problem with the team because he has been with us before and knows the players”

Appiah’s first assignment will be a friendly game with USA next month.
