Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah has indicated that his side Columbus Crew should forget about the 5-0 humiliation at the hands of FC Toronto in the MLS last Friday.

The massive drubbing in which Mensah featured full time was Crew’s worst  loss in Major League Soccer play in franchise history.

Mensah has called on his colleagues not to think about the defeat as they gather themselves to face Seattle Sounders on Thursday

“We cannot keep beating ourselves up because of this loss. We have to take it as a lesson,” defender Jonathan Mensah said.

“We just have to correct everything on the field and it will be fine afterward.”

Columbus Crew are 5th on the league log with 19 points after fourteen games.
