Dreams FC will be closing down the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu to make way for some renovation works.
The Still Believe outfit want to use the 18-day break in the second tier league to upgrade facilities at their home grounds.
The 5000-capacity Dawu Park has seen no major renovation works since the takeover from Dreams FC nearly two years ago.
This has led to the deterioration of some key areas of the stadium – a situation management looks to resolve before the start of the second half of the season.
“Some areas admittedly [of the Dawu Park] need serious renovation and we want to use the opportunity of this break to address these challenges,” Director of Football of Dreams FC Ibrahim Dossey told FootballMadeInGhana.com.
“The dressing room area and its immediate surroundings are areas we will be really focusing on.
“Our Presidential Stand also need some works and we will have to paint the whole facility again to bring out its beauty.
“Luckily for us, the playing field itself doesn’t have too much problems with it but of course anything we can do to improve it must be done.”
The closure of the facility is expected to take effect from this weekend to allow workers to move on site.
Renovation of the adjoining hostel facility meant to house the youth teams of Dreams FC is also expected to take place.
