The Ghana football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi has pointed out that the Ghanaian Media are only interested in the Black Stars and nothing else.

Nyantakyi believes the same attention the media give to the Black Stars must also be extended to the other national teams as it helps to boost their morale.

“People always say the GFA is a Black Stars FA and does not pay attention to the other national teams. That is not true, I am here in Gabon supporting the Black Starlets but the media are not here,”Nyantakyi stated

“If it were to be the Black Stars, you will have seen the number of Ghanaian media men who will have been here. The so called senior journalist don’t follow the other national teams and I believe when the Starlets reach the finals they will support,”

Ghana will face Niger on Tuesday in the semi-finals of the ongoing U17 Africa Cup in Gabon.
