Spanish La Liga side CD Leganes are ready to sign Ghana international Isaac Cofie from Genoa for a sum of 500,000 Euros with just a year left on his existing contract.
The Cucumber Growers have been on the heels of the Ghanaian midfield enforcer since January and are now ready to meet his buy-out clause as they seek to get a good cover for their back four.
Cofie who has spent the last three seasons on loan at Chievo Verona and Carpi has made just 15 appearances in all competitions this season with 13 of them coming in the Serie A and the remaining two in the Copa Italia.
The 25-year-old enforcer has previously featured for Piacenza, Sassuolo and Torino.
