The vice chairman of the Ghana Football Association’s Referees Appointment Committee, Joseph Wellington has called on the body to provide Modern Communication Gadgets to help knights of the whistle to do their work effectively.

Wellington believes the output of the referees has been good this year and the acquisition of the new gadgets will help them do their work with ease.

“The referees have done so well this season as compared to the other season, I am well-convinced that if they get new gadgets it will really help them to administer their work well,” Wellington told Footballmadeinghana.com

“The game this days is very fast and is developing so the modern device will help,”

Ghanaian referees have often come under criticism for poor often both domestically and outside.
