The Sports Ministry say they will be providing a permanent residence for the coach of the Black Stars.
Previous Black Stars coaches have had to make do with temporal accommodation provided for by the Ghana FA.
Immediate past Ghana coach Avram Grant resided in a hotel throughout the duration of his contract.
The Sports Ministry now want an end to this trend by providing a permanent place of residence for the coach of the Black Stars.
“The Sports Ministry has resolved to find a permanent residence for the coach of the Black Stars.” Deputy Sports Minister Pius Enam Hadzide revealed.
“We no longer want a situation where coaches will be staying in luxurious hotels at very high cost.
“So the policy now is to get a permanent residence for the Black Stars coach.”
This means newly appointed coach Kwesi Appiah will reside in the permanent accommodation to be provided by the Sports Ministry.
