Sporting Director of FC Midtjylland Claus Steinlein admits new signing Michael Baidoo would need some time to adjust as he begins his professional career.
Baidoo was signed by the Danish club on a four-year contract having excelled on trials.
The talent of the former Vision FC captain is never in doubt but Steinlein concedes the big leap of moving to Europe would require some time for the youngster to live up to expectations.
“He is a player we have to have patience, because he has to get used to our style of play and culture, but having said that, he is a spinnaker, we have expectations for the future,” he said.
Baidoo became eligible to sign his first professional contract on Monday when he turned 18.
