Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah says he wants to build a good team that will last for ten years.
The 56-year-old was unveiled as the new Black Stars coach at a ceremony organized by the Ghana FA on Tuesday.
Appiah returns to the post two years after being shown the exit following a tumultuous campaign at the 2014 World Cup.
The former Ghana captain is now determined to build a durable team after quitting his job with Sudanese club Al Khartoum to take up the Black Stars post.
“I want to build a team that can be there for a long time,” he said.
“A good team that can last at least ten years.”
Appiah will also be handling the Black Stars B team that has already begun preparations towards the 2018 CHAN qualifiers.
