Ibrahim Tanko has been confirmed as the 1st assistant coach of the senior national team, the Black Stars.
The appointment of the former Ghana international was confirmed at a ceremony organized by the Ghana FA to unveil new coach Kwesi Appiah.
Appiah will be working with two assistants on his return to the job with Maxwell Konadu retained as the 2nd assistant.
Former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah was also named as the Technical Coordinator of the side while his former national teammate Richard Kingston is appointed Goalkeeper’s trainer replacing Nassam Yakubu.
The Black Stars will now work with a new team doctor in the person of Chris Adomako who replaces Baba Adam.
Ishmael Hamidu and Michael Okyere retain their posts as the team’s Equipment Officer and Video Analyst respectively.
