Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah says he is prepared to defy the Ghana FA to hand international lifelines to Black Stars outcasts Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng.

The two players are currently suspended indefinitely from international duty for their engagements in acts of indiscipline during Appiah’s the 2014 World Cup.

Some even blame Kwesi Appiah for his failure to stamp his authority during the tumultuous period in his first stint in charge of the Black Stars – ultimately costing him the job over two years ago.

But Appiah who had a public spat with Boateng – currently with Las Palmas – and was forced to send Sulley Muntari home for attacking a Ghana FA official at the World Cup says he will consider calling up the duo.

“If they are doing well, why not?” the former Ghana captain said of the duo.

“I’ll always want the best for Ghana.”

The Ghana FA handed indefinite suspensions to the two players to be revoked only on condition they render official apologies for their acts of indiscipline at the 2014 World Cup.

While Sulley Muntari has already satisfied this condition, Kevin-Prince Boateng remains adamant – insisting he did nothing wrong.
