Ghana enforcer Bright Addae has signed a new two-year deal with Italian Serie B side Ascoli Picchio.

The Ghanaian holding midfielder’s deal with the Woodpeckers was supposed to end this summer but he has extended it by two more seasons and will be at the Stadio Cino e Lillo Del Duca until June 30, 2019.

Addae 24, joined Ascoli in the summer of 2014 from Crotone and has grown to become a key member of Manager Alfredo Aglieti’s side.

The former Ghana Under 20 winner has also featured for clubs including Parma, Gorica in Slovenia as well as Gubio.
