Ghanaian striker John Antwi continued his impressive run in the Egyptian League as he scored the opener for Misr El Makkasa SC against Aswan SC in a week 26 fixture on Tuesday afternoon.

Antwi struck in the 28th minute before team mate Abdelzaher Ahmed doubled the lead ten minutes later, sealing a 2 – 0 victory for Makkasa who are currently placed 2nd on the league log, 5 points behind reigning champions Al Ahly.

The 24 year-old was on target  with the opener again in his side’s  2 – 1 win over El Deklyeh last Thursday.

He joined on a short loan spell from Ahly in January 2017 for the second half of the season and has already netted 7 times in nine appearances for the Fayoum based club.
