Chelsea are ready to cash in on Christian Atsu this summer despite the winger’s fine form which has helped Newcastle to secure qualification back to the elite division.
Atsu signed for the Blues in 2013 under Andre Villas-Boas but has not made a single appearance having being on loan at Vittese Arnheim, Everton, Bournemouth, Malaga and Newcastle.
The former FC Porto winger has looked lively in the championship and now Rafa Benitez wants to get him outright as the Toons will be playing in the EPL next season.
Personal terms have already been agreed as part of his loan deal, and according to ESPN, the Magpies have until a week after the end of the club season to complete the transfer.
Chelsea are said to be asking an amount of 6.5 Million Pounds from the Magpies in the deal which could also see the Tynecastle outfit having a first option to sign Tammy Abraham on loan.
Swansea City, West Brom and others are also said to be interested in the Ghanaian.
